This was the first bootleg tape I had back in early 80's. I remember thinking what a crazy setlist it was that kept going and going>'76 has a feel to it that I love. Now I can hear it in SB quality. Thanks for pointing this one out!.Brings back many a great memory of my days as a newbie to the band.

No prob, Pauly! Yeah, '76: slow and sparkly is how I describe the sound that year. MY first tape was the Great American Music Hall, '75, which I can't link ya to ... because now it's called "One From The Vault" :)

Perfect description of a somewhat overlooked year. It seems all the recordings I have of '76 are clear, crisp, and mixed perfectly. By the way, I've been listening to the SB of 7/18,(Set I,at present)and think the Cassidy is a standout.Love Phil's bassline on Scarlet- great groove!
Gotta take a deep breath and get ready for the monstrous 2nd set! Easy to see how this one's your fave.
